Mary Howard & Catriona Dunlea have numerous years experience in genealogy research.

What started out as a hobby over time developed into a research business, Munster Ancestors and in 2012 renamed Irish Ancestors Direct.

Having studied genealogy in University College Dublin and Independent College in Dublin we gained valuable experience in researching in our national repositories of National Archives, National Library of Ireland, Registry of Deeds and The General Register Office (GRO).

Armed with our new found knowledge we have assisted many clients in family research overcoming the "brick wall" enabling them progress their ancestral trail.  It soon became apparent that clients wanted a more personal approach in terms of researching their own family history.

Our training programme teaches students how to complete their own family tree and locate their ancestors be they at home or abroad.
